Counseling & Support Team
Kara Youngblood, M.A.,LLPC, NCC has worked for Well of GRACE Ministries since 2014. She is passionate about empowering young ladies to overcome obstacles that impact body, mind and spirit. Using evidenced-based interventions coupled with an emphatic approach, she facilitates the Dewpoint support groups for women with eating disorders. She is instrumental in supporting relapse prevention and encouraging a constructive body/person image. Kara is a member of SMEDA (Southwest Michigan Eating Disorder Association) where she collaborates with other professionals who work with persons who have eating disorders to better serve the community. She earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Andrews University. She is a LLPC (Limited Licensed Professional Counselor) and a NCC (National Certified Counselor).
Amber Smith, M.A., LMSW  is a Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW) clinician who received her Master’s Degree from Grand Valley State University in Social Work and is a Berrien County native. She has been practicing outpatient clinical social work for 14 years in the Grand Rapids and Berrien County areas. She works with a variety of clients ranging from children to senior adults. She particularly enjoys  working with the adolescent population as they struggle with issues of identity, self-esteem and coping. Amber enjoys reading, exercising and going to the beach with her family every season of the year!
Leslie Kroeze, MSW  is a therapist for our Club H2O program for adolescent girls. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University . Leslie has been a part of Well of GRACE from the beginning. She was part of the founding board that started the ministry in 2004. Since then, she has served in a variety of areas watching the ministry grow by leaps and bounds. Currently, she has the unique position of overseeing the operations of the ministry as president of the Board of Directors and actively working for the ministry facilitating Club H2O groups in Bridgman Public Schools.  Leslie is married to Jim Kroeze and together they have four children. She volunteers as a WyldLife leader at Bridgman Middle school. Leslie also serves on the board for the Bridgman Foundation for Educational Excellence as well as being an active leader and volunteer at her home church The Chapel EFC.

Flori Mejuer, MSW, LPSW, received her Masters in Social Work degree from Western Michigan University. She is currently working part time as a counselor for Southwestern Medical Clinic.  She enjoys her work with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with a variety of issues, including eating disorders. She and her husband, Steve, were instrumental in opening Well of GRACE Ministries in 2004. They both continue to serve on the board of directors. In addition, Flori helps to facilitate Dewpoint, the support group for those who battle Eating Disorders. Her experiences at The Well have created a passion, purpose and expertise for treating young women. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the National Association of Social Workers and the Southwest Michigan Eating Disorder Association.​

Mary Andres, M.A., LPC has Master's Degree from Western Michigan Universtiy in Counseling-Psychology and is a licensed professional counselor.  She specializes in grief and trauma and currently works part-time at SWMC Christian Counseling & Psychological Services.  She started working for WOGM as an intern in 2007 and was hired in 2013 as the Executive Director. She continues to lead groups for the ministry and has a passion for working with teens and women to increase self-awareness, strive for personal growth and overall well-being. She is instrumental in managing the day to day operations, training/staffing, and overall organizational function of the ministry. She looks forward to cultivating new relationships within the community and is excited about how God will continue to grow this ministry.

Debbie Rose, MS, LMFT Debbie earned her BS in Child Development and Family Studies at Purdue University and completed her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Indiana State University.  Much of her professional experience consists of therapy with inpatient psychiatric clients.  She loved this work facilitating countless groups and working with individuals, couples, and families during this time.  Since starting a family with her husband Todd, she spends many hours volunteering at her kids' schools and at church and has recently began leading groups for Well of Grace Ministries.  One of her favorite phrases is:  "It doesn't have to be this way."  She sees this as an empowering statement that allows people of all walks of life to have hope that they can improve their mood and situation after they learn the right tools and have great support.  She loves that at Well of Grace Ministries, she can share her solid belief that God Himself is the source of all strength.
Jasmine Jones, LLMSW is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) clinician from Benton Harbor, MI who received her Master’s Degree in Social work from Western Michigan University. In the past, she has worked with children doing home-based therapy. She has also helped individuals who had difficulties finding a job placement by assisting with resume building and mock interviews. Currently, Jasmine is a therapist for Club H20 program for adolescent girls. She is passionate about working with this population. During her work with teen girls, she notices they often feel alone, cannot identify a safe person to talk to nor relate to what they are going through. Jasmine is a great listener and encourager.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as exercising, listening to music and traveling.
